Aims & Activities
The NSPCC is the UK's leading children's charity, preventing abuse and helping those affected to recover. Nationally, we provide therapeutic services to help children move on from abuse, as well as supporting parents and families in caring for their children. We help professionals make the best decisions for children and young people, and support communities to help prevent abuse from happening in the first place.
Locally, we aim to prevent child abuse and neglect in families facing adversity using a partnership, place-based approach in the East and West Marsh wards of Grimsby. Together, the partnership aims to help parents to develop and sustain more positive parenting skills and better relationships with their children and to ensure children and young people have positive coping strategies to help them to overcome adversity and thrive.
