Creative Futures Art Therapy

Creative Futures Art Therapy

Creative Futures Art Therapy

Art psychotherapy for individuals with emotional, behavioural or communication challenges, providing personalised and flexible therapy. Art therapy is a form of psychotherapy that uses art materials and images - exploring the way you create, what you make, and your changing moods and behaviours. Images you create are like signposts on how you deal with the world.

Depending on your needs you will be offered up to 6 sessions to assess if art therapy is for you. Your experiences will then be reviewed with you and any carers involved to explore if the therapy was useful. A further plan will be discussed and agreed if appropriate. Art therapy is voluntary and you can leave at any time if you become uncomfortable. You can also take your art home.

You do not need any special skills, and can be used with individuals or groups, sensory or no sensory difficulties, children or adults.
