The Restart Project

During the pandemic, digital exclusion became a matter of exclusion from society full stop. Many community groups and local initiatives across the UK set up to accept donations of old laptops, computers, and other electronic items, They fix and upgrade these devices, distributing them to locals in need.

The problem hasn't gone away and community groups are still providing devices to those in need, such as refugees, school children and job seekers. Restart Project have been working with communities since 2013 to combat digital exclusion, and dismantle the e-waste mountain.

For more information, and to find where out where to donate your electronics, please visit the website.
