P.A.U.L For Brain Recovery
In 2012, Paul Spence was the victim of an unprovoked attack and suffered a brain haemorrhage. After discharge from a high dependency unit, Paul faced a long and challenging recovery journey. He struggled with the consequences of his brain injury alone, and realised there was a lack of support available in the community. In 2016, the P.A.U.L For Brain Recovery Centre opened as an access point in the community to help ensure people can get the support and guidance they need after suffering a brain injury.
Referrals can be made by healthcare professionals, family members (with permission) or the individual themselves.
The main office is based at the Wilberforce Health Centre, 6-10 Story Street, Hull, HU1 3SA.
