Nell Pattison has written three crime novels featuring British Sign Language interpreter, Paige Northwood, and two standalone thrillers. She will be talking about how she came to write her first novel, The Silent House. The Silent House follows the Hunter family, who wake one morning to find that one of them has been murdered in the middle of the night. As the family is deaf, nobody has heard a thing, but somebody knows more than they are letting on... The talk will also focus on how she became an author and the themes within her work.
