Screening is by appointment only - no drop-in sessions
This is offered to women and people with a cervix 25 yrs - 64 yrs. The patient is invited: - Under 25 yrs (up to 6 months before turning 25 yr old). - 25 yrs - 49 yrs (every 3 yrs) - 50yrs - 64 yrs (every 5 years) - 65 yrs + (if a recent test was abnormal)
Patients can book an appointment as soon as they receive an invitation letter. If a patient has missed their last cervical screening, they do not need to wait for a letter to book an appointment.
Cervical screening appointment can be booked at a patients registered GP.
