To join the Community Shop, all we ask if that you live locally, and are in receipt of a means tested benefit. These include:


- Universal Credit
- Tax Credits
- Council Tax Reduction (not the 25% single occupancy)
- Jobseekers
- Income Based ESA
- Income Support
- Pension Credit
- Housing Benefit


There are non-means-tested disability benefits which you can get in addition to the means tested benefits. These include:


- Attendance Allowance
- Carer's Allowance (if you look after somebody with extra care needs for 35 hours a week or more)
- Disability Living Allowance (this is gradually replaced by other benefits)
- New style Employment and Support Allowance (ESA) 
- Contribution based Job Seekers Allowance
- Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
