Safespace is an out-of-hours, open door crisis café where you can get instant and practical mental health support.

There’s no need to call ahead. If you’re feeling vulnerable in the evenings, you can drop into Safespace and speak to fully trained mental health professionals who will help you manage your wellbeing.

It’s a judgement-free zone and we welcome those who are in need – whether that be due to loneliness, isolation or emotional vulnerability.

How to access Safespace

Walk-in

There's no need to call ahead - you can access Safespace by walking in and speaking to the team face-to-face. 

We're based in Navigo Coffee House in Brighowgate in Grimsby and are available between 5.30pm and 11.30pm, Monday to Sunday.

If you don’t have access to a computer or a smart phone, you can still access Safespace using a phone. Just dial any one of these numbers:

If you’re in a mental health crisis and need urgent help, call the Single Point of Access on 01472 256 256 and select option 3. They are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
